Well it ended today. I just called and quit. I have never done that at a job before. If I had respect for the company I would have given two weeks notice. My reasoning for quitting is still after two weeks of working in my new store I was unable to find out my new salary. The day before yesterday I walked into a madhouse as usual. I was told to go on bar the two girls that were there were going to be on meal break violation (God Forbid). I went onto bar and there was no prep, nothing left, and one person on reg, brewing coffee and heating crappy stale sandwiches. The DM had me make his pussy drink PTL 2pM 2pR. I made his drink and he came up behind me and told me to make it again. Don't know why only pure harassment. Well needless to say we were out of PT and I told him that was all they had prepped. He left in a huff. Oh and by the way that same day he had fired my SM. Liked her allot, I was very upset. I am filling a claim with the EEOC for hostile work environment and harassment. It is a clear cut case due to the fact that I had filed a previous complaint about him making me find my own store to work in. It is a clear cut case of retaliation. I was able to get 3 of my friends better jobs (a photographer, a graphic designer and an accountant...all recently grads who were having hard times finding a job because of the lack of experience).</p> <p>In some work field it's who you know and not what you know that may or may not advance your career and if I have to get paid peanuts, get stick with stupid customers and follow stupid rules (like scooping the coffee), if I have to stand there and listen to how little Tommy or Jane just started school (or whatever the conversation maybe), I might as well get the most of it.</p> <p>Yes, it's hard sometimes because lots of people simply don't want to be bother with however I noticed that the night time customers are more easy to create connections with than the morning customers.
