Also, you should have asked anyone within reach if they saw what happened. I needed to be taken to the emergence room for the injury to my knee. After 2 years I still have pain in my knee. Not wanting to get involved with an attorney I took them to small claims court. I had $1500 in medical bills. They lied in court saying that the umbrella stands are never left in the middle of the patio area and that they had never been sued before for this type of trip and fall. The judge tells them she is going to check out the patio where the fall happend. Low and behold all the umbrella stands were lined up next to the fence. The judge enjoyed a coffee and denied my claim including the medical bills. Case closed starbucks sucks. </p>
