But I would just power through it. Make a sign that says, "SORRY, I AM THE ONLY PERSON WORKING HERE RIGHT NOW. Another colleague stayed a few hours extra to help out. But I wonder, what could I have done if it were just the two of us (me, someone who has only been at Sbux for nearly a year) and I were left to man the store while she was busy vomiting and calling other stores for coverage? I felt so helpless today but I need to know this for the future. </p> <p>What would you do? </p>
