And I'm just a barista. I have not done a set up in 2 years. We have a borrowed ASM working, and the DM will be stop by for two hours. I know they will be questioning my every move. I was told that it would take 6 hours to complete. Anyone have any tips or tricks or anything I should know for doing setups? And or not getting frustrated with the DM watching you?<br /> The new steaming pitchers work well. They actually give you no foam 90% of the time, and free pouring works wonders without excess milk waste. Too bad you can't steam for two venties or such since its to small. I was definitely dubious on how it work work during the last international rugby match. (I can't even think of a decent comparison to how mad it gets on rugby days... maybe imagine your morning rush, extended from 10 minutes before we open the door to 15 minutes before the game starts)</p> <p>I was surprised how well it all worked, especially considering we weren't staffed appropriately for the day. Same here. Lol. But I mean, My store sells about the frap equivalent that every other store sells in lattes. So being forced to make the hot drinks one at a time won't be too much. My only worry is that it will limit making foam, and have to watch the milk a lot more to make sure I'm not consistently making too much foam to go overboard. And my main problem with it, is that since we can't batch, and using more pitchers, that I will actually have to clean them more often, taking time out of my personal flow and rotation.
