Things were okay, even a little better, before they hired this young girl as our SM. She started as a transfer from CA as a barista, then got promoted to SS. Then she went to another store to train for ASM. I have no idea how she ended up back at our store. The DM even brought in this guy who was supposed to our new SM, introduced him to everyone, and then at the very last minutes we find out this awful person whom everyone loathed when she was a SS was going to be our new SM. Many people seriously thought she and the DM were engaging in some kind of inapropiate relationship outside the store. Nothing can get done unless there is enough information to hold up in court if the person fired turns around a sues for wrongful termination.</p> <p>I know it sounds like obsessive overkill, but I'm talking about going home and sending yourself an email about exactly what happened on that particular shift, including names, times, dates, etc. and then being able to produce that record when the time comes. So fun, felt awesome and then I started to learn how crazy everyone was and how backstabbing and two faced my co-workers were! My store manager that hired me was pregnant so she was there for about 5 months and she was a sweet heart! Then my crazy assistant manager who had just gotten back from her maternity leave, took over the store while our store manager left to have her baby, let me just tell you this... My store is like a horror movie!!! So once my manager left my ASM took over, we of course all heard stories about her, and how crazy she was at past stores! Everyone at her California stores hated her, she closed down the last store she managed, and then she magically eneded up at our store to manage while our manager had her baby! So there is so background on my manager as of now, next is the crazy people I work with! My shift team sucks, they break all the rules and are rude! If I do anything wrong I get a talk to by my manager or something dramatic! So one shift sits on her butt in the back room all the time and this same shift lets people stay in lobby after close "when cash handleing is going on" she is already on a final for keeping her boyfriend in lobby a year ago! And this same shift doesn't give me my last tens like ever, she is rude to me like every day! Next shift for my night team has cash handleing problems! And she is always on her phone and never helps out, I get stranded on the floor at night all the time, in drive &amp; lobby! This shift told my manager that I don't do tasks that she asks me to in a certain amount of time... So my manager talked to me about that too! And surprise she told my manager that after her and me got in an argument the night before about her performance! And baristas are rude and caddy! Now on to where things get crazy, my manager that I have now who was ASM is seriously at our store to clean house! She fired one of my friends for eating three tomatoes out of a chicken &amp; humas plate after it was marked out! And back in December there was this one girl who I hated!!! She tried to ruin me on the daily, I got her fired for stealing tons of merchandise, because she was dumb! But my whole store is corrupt, my store is known all throughout our district and region and even people from stores in other states know how bad my store is! I come into work every day and feel like I'll get fired, and I do nothing wrong, but if someone I work with, gets a wild hair up there butt for just one day they will try to ruin me! I'm nice to everyone, but I just hate that I get in trouble for the littleist things like using a "bad" word on the floor which I didn't do, and yet there are people at my store doing drastic things and never get in trouble! If I just let loose and told my DM or manger everything that goes down, people would be running scared! We have another hour and a half mandatory store meeting taking place in a few weeks, can't wait to hear what's going down this time! Last meeting we had ended badly and signing contracts who knows what will happen at this one! The stress Starbucks has caused on my life by me working at this store sucks!
