It's loud and inconsistent. It's supposedly adjustable, but the finest setting is still paper filter. The coarsest setting? Comes out paper filter grind. It also will have a tiny bit of turkish coffee grind in the corners. Not enough to actually, you know..... MAKE turkish coffee if I wanted too. I grind my coffee every morning, so it doesn't need to grind fast. I will never be grinding big amounts of coffee. I've been looking into a quiet grinder (preferably manual) that will adjust from turkish grind to french press and grind consistently. I do plan on buying a french press and an ibrik soon, so it has to work properly. Any suggestions? And money is an issue... I'd rather not spend more than $100.
