What's even worse than a no foam caramel machiatto? A no whip salted caramel signature hot chocolate.
Anybody else have retarded drink orders to share?

Light frapps with whip and/or extra caramel.
Perfectionist, I was thinking that before I even opened this hahaha.
Cappuccino with no foam with the extra space in cup instead of foam
coffee247 - i'm not even sure i get that one, haha
i always enjoyed when people ordered iced caramel machiattos and then looked at it in disgust and made me stir it. they couldn't QUITE understand the concept of 'machiatto'. soooo glad i never have to do that **** again.
Of course the real machiatto has nothing to do whatsoever with the Starbucks drink.
doesn't a.. stirred iced caramel machiatto = iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle??
yeah, thought so.
so.. they can't just order that and save the hassle and disgust?!
customers are dumb.
lol.
Soycupcake - Yeah I never got it myself we would explain that she should just get a short latte with no foam in a grande cup but she wanted to order it her way and pay more. So we were not going to take that away from her LOL
oh!! we had these cheap **** (a married couple) who got three shots of espresso in an iced venti cup FILLED with ice. they would FREAK if you tried to ring it up other than anything but a triple espresso... then they would mosey on over to the condiment bar and fill their **** cups up with whole milk from the caraf. JESUS CHRIST, JUST PAY FOR THE **** ICED VENTI LATTE!!!
Ohh, I hate it when they order a no whip SCHC. And then when you hand the drink off, they ask why we didn't put the salt on it. "Well, ma'am/sir I did put the salt on it, because you ordered no whip on your drink, the salt goes to the bottom of the cup."
COMMON SENSE!
upside down caramel machiatto with no foam. Dammit, that drink just annoys me terribly.
upside down caramel machiatto ... that's STILLLLLLLLLL a vanilla latte with caramel drizzle!!! lol.
sad thing is, a lot of people don't even know what a caramel machiatto is.. and they order one every day. most people don't even know it's basically a vanilla latte! only diff is it has caramel syrup and shots are poured over. i wish people knew what they were ordering, before they ordered it!
from now on..
when you call a caramel machiatto..
call it an "upside down extra foam, caramel drizzle, vanilla latte!"
same thing.
I'm just waiting for someone to order an upside down caramel macchiato with an extra pump of vanilla and NO CARAMEL!
When people hear caramel macchiato, they think its really drippingly caramelly. What they really want is a caramel latte half the time with caramel drizzle.
In my honest opinion, I think the CM is one of the blandest gross drinks that we have. I always try one because they look so good sometimes, but am always disappointed.
People just like saying macchiato. That's all it comes down to folks. People come up to me and just say macchiato and I know they want a CM. In fact, no one has ever asked me for just a macchiato.
I used to like caramel macchiatos. And then I discovered the plain ol' vanilla latte. :D
I think the non-fat, no whip white mochas are THE dumbest drink ever.
Because the nonfat milk saves you maybe 50 calories and the white mocha has 10x the sugar density of any other syrup? That stuff is alright with like a 1 pump, but if anybody gets extra white mocha I want to tell them NO.
i hate when you had a drink off to a customer and they look at you with the stupidest look on there face, one day i was on bar and i was doing two drinks it was not very busy and one was a grande Hazelnut latte and an iced grande green tea latte i called them out and put it up on the bar the person who ordered the green tea latter grabs the hazle nut latte and go " is this my drink?" i was like" no its the GREEN one" it is in a clear cup and is green lol some customers are pretty dumb and some are cool you never know what to expect
... You would think that even if they didn't know what the drink was already, the green part would have been a hint as to which one was theirs...
~Cappuccino with no foam
~Apple Cider at 300 degrees
~Any soy drink with Whip cream...I just want to shoot them.
gloomy- I like whip with my soy when I feel like having something very sweet. The soy just tastes sweeter than the regular milk so instead of adding extra syrup, ill just use soy.
Anything 300 degrees...lol
@gloomy: rofl.....apple cider @300°! Some **** would actually would make such a ludicrous demand!
It baffles me when people order a grande cup of milk and pay $2 and some change for it! Like, they couldn't have gone to 7-11 and bought a bottle for a buck fifty?
Another mystery for the ages: who in their right mind would ask for 5,6,10,15+, splenda or other sugar substitutes packs in their drink? Quantities that massive would just eat away at the soul don't you think?
@ DARKROAST: We actually have a regular customer who comes in every day and orders an Iced venti vanilla latte, with 2% milk, SFV vanilla, 15 SPLENDAS, EXTRA EXTRA caramel, blanded.
... yeah. i know.
Venti Decaf NF 1/2 Splenda Starbucks Doubleshot on Ice.
Decaf. Non-fat. HALF a Splenda. DECAF DOUBLESHOT ON ICE.
It's the ULTIMATE in Why Bother.
The worst is when you have two similar drinks on bar, for example one is nonfat and the other is 2%, you called them out "blah blah NONFAT LATTE", someone grabs it, then you call out the other one "blah blah LATTE" then the person standing there goes "umm....is this nonfat?.." you tell them "no but I just called one out that was" and then they say "well the other customer took my drink, can you remake it with nonfat milk.."
This pisses me off. Grab the drink that YOU ordered.
Or when you call out drinks and the customers are standing around looking puzzled, then they come up to you 10 minutes later and say "where is my drink...?"
10 feet to the left on the bar ****.
whenever someone orders an 'upside down' caramel macchiatto i just make it exactly backwards (espresso shots first, caramel sauce cross-hatch, foam, pour the milk and then the vanilla syrup on top). if they want it stirred then they should just say stirred.
I die a little bit everytime I hear an "upside down CM" being ordered. I tried to educate people by explaining the concept of a macchiato, how this is just a vanilla latte, blah blah blah.
99% of the time my words simply bounce off our idiot customers, and they ask, "so where's my upside down CM?"
Damn you Starbucks!
LMAO the vanilla on top. I am totally doing that from now on.
Soembody returned a CM today and said it tasted "watered down". Then she said there was "like no coffee" so I thought she might want an extra shot, but she frowned and said "it's just bad". So my shift remakes the drink and watches the shots pour for proper color, etc. and the lady still wasn't happy but she took it and left anyway.
