So my store is a drive-thru/lobby store so we have one machine next to the drive-thru and two for the front. My store still hasn't gotten the new machines yet but I really don't care for them anyway. We are going to be getting the new machines soon but we are only getting two of the machines because we don't have enough money for three and they decided they are going to completely remove the drive-thru bar. The only reason I am bitching is because I constantly have to hear from upper management that we need to improve speed of service and we are one of the busier stores in our region. Who the **** thought this was more efficient? And no offense not everyone at my store is fast at baring so this might create an unfair amount of stress on the Barista.

ah, the old "the upper management gave us **** equipment,so we can only give you **** results". I'll bet that happens all the time in service and f&b.And the best part is, WE are the ones getting the **** treatment from the **** customers after we give them the **** results.**** is a favourite recurring word tonight.

The constant switch-a-roos by The Suits and their minions is my main beef with the Bux. How can we improve our service when the schematic is always changing? When we finally do get a system down, they go and change/add to/withdraw the old program! How about some stability, Howie? I don't think the partners and shareholders are asking for too much by expecting a basic business model with measurable results and sticking to it!

High Five Darkroast! To add on to my rant in "nitpicking" When I am constantly being told policies and rules are being changed, I often accidently revert back to my habitual drink methods that are apparently not correct now. Then I get bitched at. *ARGH!*

LOL. @taichilatte - thank you! You just gave me my laugh of the day: "Cruisyeyes is that **** mistercoffee". You guys crack me up!!!

And actually, DARKROAST, I think you make a very astute point - inconsistency in a business is a killer. Not only do you forfeit standardization of methods and practices, but it's a major stressor to employees. Everyone needs a "comfort zone" of some sort..wherein they are reasonably content with their job function and performance.
Of course, you want employees to push themselves to achieve greater individual success because collectively, that benefits the company as a whole (and it further develops those employees). However, when a business keeps changing its methodology, no one can find that comfort zone - and that results in high levels of stress and consequent dissatisfaction. That dissatisfaction, if not alleviated somehow, leads to a high turnover rate in employees - and the loss of much needed experience when those employees with a degree of seniority leave. Which creates even more stress for those still employed. It's a vicious cycle.
Very good point, DARKROAST - you're absolutely correct.

Oh but I am not mistercoffee. Where is the mod. to vindicate me. Do you hear me mod.? Vindicate my good name, please. This is my only name. I am not that desperate. After my "Bye" thread, a lot of you made some very hypocritical posts, going back on your words against me. Don't belive me? Go back and read the last month of everything. And if you still don't get what I am talking about, well, I really don't want to have to cut and paste stuff, that would take up to much time and space. I think that was clear enough for you to understand. Thank you.

Bye again.

please stop trying so hard cruisy..it's starting to hurt seeing you suffer at the (typing)hands of the partners here after every post you reply or start. Not that i would resort to pity, but still..

cruisyeyes - I thought you left. I really don't recall anyone going against what they've previously posted about you. I think it's a fair assessment to make...everyone on here has pretty much made negative remarks regarding you. I haven't read any retraction of that (and mistercoffee asking you not to leave wasn't a retraction of any kind, because to the best of my knowledge, he is about the only one who hadn't said anything negative about you).
Once again, you've proven what you are - a snob (Mr. "I think that was clear enough for you to understand")...and now a liar (you told everyone you were leaving, and yet, here you are again). Add that to the other host of adjectives that have been used....it's not a pretty picture.
And just for the record, I honestly don't think that you had very much of a good name with which to begin....so the mods really don't have to jump on your request to clear it.
Believe it or not cruisyeyes, the world doesn't revolve around you - and neither does the last month's worth of posts (you telling us to go back and reread them). Dig yourself deeper into your little narcissistic hole and stick to your word - "bye".

You're OK, mr_mastrena! :)
Posted 4 years ago # -
I'm ok too for pete's sake! I never said how long I would be gone. I don't owe you anything.
Posted 4 years ago # -
No...you don't owe anyone anything (no one said you did)....and actually, you're correct - you never DID specify how long you would be gone. Hmmm. You got me there, cruisyeyes. I incorrectly assumed that "bye" would be longer than a day or two.

I had to clear my head. I know this sounds lame (it does to me anyways) but I am going to make an honest effort to be less of an **** around here.
Posted 4 years ago # -
Well, admitting that you have a problem is the first step in recovery. LOL. Just jerking your chain, so to speak, cruisyeyes! :)
Posted 4 years ago # -
oh my bad mr_mastrena - you're right taichi, I was confused...cruisey I thought you bid farewell? wtf...did your 'real life' plans fall through and you got bored at home?
Posted 4 years ago # -
poor mr_mastrena...I'm sorry I got confused!
Posted 4 years ago # -
It does sound lame cruisyeyes and a lot like a load of stinky cow crap, but if you are willing to be nice and offer constructive commentary, we'll get over it. Im just skeptical you have the ability to do anything other than troll.
Posted 4 years ago # -
Cruiseyes, you must be a glutton for punishment. Best of luck to you in not being a troll, though I note you're not off to a good start (everybody here hates you--"good name" my foot!).
Some consistency out of Seattle would be nice. I plan to leave soon anyhow, but for the remaining partners at my store, that would be great!
