Hello my fellow HATERS!!! I bring to the table another life that has been touched and scorned by sbux! I worked for the company for almost 4 yrs. I hated 3yrs and 8 months of it! To summarize all of my past hatred I'll tell you this...I know more than these **** new hire store managers and assistants will EVER know. Don't get me wrong in any of this, I HATE HATE HATE HATE STARBUCKS! And for those of you who are reading this and are current partners...**** YOU!!! Get your happy little a$$ off of this site, there is no reason for you to even be looking on here anyway! Go do your motherfu*king spin or sweep or whatever you little sh!t's want to call it! Now, back to talking to the real important people who know what the hell I'm talking about. As much as the company does for other people around the world, WHAT THE FU*K ABOUT US!?!?!? Don't tell me that people are really supposed to be happy with $7 phr! That's barely above minimum wage!! You've got to be kidding me, and then we are supposed to be fu*king THANKFUL that we got $7? I was hired at a higher rate years ago, and made almost as much as an ASM with my tips. But I've got to say, I felt so bad for those that were hired at 7 and then had rent, kids, school, bills, and life to deal with. How the hell are you supposed to deal with that?! You can't!!! I don't understand how it's ok for companies to be so neglective of the IMMEDIATE needs that their partners have! I know stocks are good and all, and benefits, but come on, that won't if at all pay the bills until years down the road! Get your PRIORITIES STRAIGHT! Don't get me wrong, I wasn't always this hateful towards Starbucks. Back in that day (years ago) I loved it! I loved the partners, my schedule, my store manager. It really was a family, the customers were great, it was like the utopia of jobs/careers. And then Starbucks wanted to grew big and fast in our area! That's when everything fell apart. I just am soooooooo disappointed with the direction that the company has turned towards. I think what would help is having a partner contact center for EACH district. C'mon, it's not like they can't afford it! HIRE BETTER PEOPLE, MAKE AND KEEP THEM HAPPY, DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND HOW YOU GOT THERE, AND STICK BY YOUR FU*KING PRICIPALS!! THIS COULD BE A GREAT COMPANY, BUT IT ISN'T ANY MORE! AND THERE IS ONLY THEMSELVES TO BLAME!! THEY FIRE ALL THE HARD WORKERS, LET THE EVEN HARDER WORKERS QUIT, THEY PRAISE THE IDIOTS AND HIRE THE COCKY, HEAD STUCK UP EVERYONE'S A$$, **** DON'T STINK PARTNERS (SM,ASM,SS and Baristas). I REMEMBER WHEN THE STOCK WAS $75. LET'S SEE IF THEY CAN EVER BRING THAT UP...OH WAIT NO!!! THEY CAN'T!! THE FU*KING SBUX HIPE IS ALMOST OVER!!!

Granted, Starbucks takes a proverbial dump on everyone and everything every single day, but have you ever stopped to think that maybe it's not the coffee that's bitter, it's you?

chill dude. its obvious that the wages they give are not that good. however, its basic labour markets. there are always people who want to work there - usually students etc doing part time. its a means to and end. seems like you've taken everything too serious. i know many peole who worked there and quit as soon as they found something better. its not like you dont have a choice to leave. at the time, i didnt because i really liked my manager and she was super flexible with me and my studies, and things did change with a new manager. BUT, things change all the time. no point hanging onto the golden moments and complaining how good things were. accept whats happened and move on.
you might of just had a bad day or something, but dude.. i think you need to do some meditation or something to relax! listen to whale noises and read a book. you might get a heart attack the way your going around **** like theres no tomorrow.
p.s. about the stock being $75. get it right, thats the internal word they used. smell the fresh air, its shares. and about the price? starbucks dont actually care too much, what do they have to gain frmo it? not that much movement in their shares, however they recieved the initial equity capital ages ago. the market price doesnt matter, its on the secondary market, and the money people pay for the shares doesnt go to them. uunless they issue new shares. which if anything, would drive down their share price. did youlose money from buying their shares or something?

screwsbux. all i have to say is ..... like 50% of the people on this site work for starbucks. you aren't going to get a very friendly welcome if you tell all of us "**** you and get off of this site". just because we work there, doesn't mean we like it! congratulations for getting out, but some of us haven't hit that milestone yet. i'm sure you understand that it is not easy finding a job that will work with your schedule and give you benefits for 20 hours a week. i'm trying. just not out yet. but if you can't understand that, then **** YOU.
