I have a complaint. I do not like Starbucks coffee for it's taste and price. Also I do not like putting my own sugar and cream into my coffee because I never make it right.
Anyways I had no choice there were no coffee stores in the area so I went down to Starbucks for a coffee. I am unfamiliar with Starbucks "culture" so I said to the barrister or whatever "Hi Good morning, I don't really come to Starbucks, what is the most "regular" coffee that you have?" The barrister replied to me "Sir we don't have any "regular" coffee here. Perhaps the Coffee Time down the street would be more appropriate for you."
I just laughed and walked out of the store, but it was insulting. For people that don't know, I live in Toronto, Canada and there are 3 major coffee stores here. One is Tim Hortons, similar to your Dunkin Donuts. The second is Country Style, which is the same as Dunkin Donuts but a bit less popular. Coffee Time is the worst franchise in Toronto. Regularly there are bums in the store and often you see flies on the donuts and food. The employees always look depressed (I don't blame them).
The second time I went to Starbucks (different store) I asked for a "large regular coffee" the lady said "We don't serve "large" coffees here." I replied "What is the size of cup that you sell that has the highest volume of liquid in them? The barrister replied "That would be venti". I said I would like a venti then, but apparently I didn't pronounce is correctly and my order was refused. I didn't give anyone attitude I don't know why I was treated like this. I threw a penny into the tip jar and left the store without making a purchase.
I would like to know how can I make an order in Starbucks as I have neve been able to successfully complete one as of yet.
