   If you are on this site, and are in any way defending Starbucks... seriously what is wrong with you?

   I don't care about whether you are being logical or not, or whether those bashing Starbucks are actually making any sense or not.

   Just seriously, what is wrong with you?

   Why are you on a website dedicated to hating Starbucks, and doing anything besides bashing it? It is so disingenuous, it just doesn't make any sense.

   If the shoe fits, please explain it to me, because I am really confused.

   Oh and btw, those who work at Starbucks appreciate the fact that we actually have a job in this tough economy, doesn't mean we have to LIKE THE JOB, so please shut up with the whole "omg just be thankful you have a job" crap. Someday when he economy turns around again and it is an employees market again the employers are the ones that are going to be bent over and they are going to end up very sorry for the way they treated people, like freaking garbage.

   Seriously, Just Say No, tell it like it is! Hopefully Cruisy and others like him will get a friggin' clue!
   If we obviously cannot vent our frustations at work, and we've likely talked our friends' and family's ears off from complaining, where can we go? Right to this very site!!!!!! I beginning to believe that the cheerleaders who come here and defend the Bux or to chide us for not appreciating that pittance of a paycheck are here to pick a fight or in plain denial.

   Just_Say_No, I see your point, however, do you want to have intelligent discussions about Starbucks, or do you just want to come on here and rant, and **** about everything Starbucks related. The only time I ever defend Starbucks on this site, is when I read someone blaming Starbucks, for something that is not at all Starbucks fault, and/or just someone bitching about having to actually "work", or do something like that. I have no love for Starbucks, that is why I am on here, but apparently, unlike yourself, I do have a healthy respect for logic, and common sense, which, on a site such as this, is not always present. I think (and I think the admin would back me up on this) the intent of this site is to allow employee's of Starbucks a healthy outlet to "vent" and exchange idea's and tips with other employees.
   I'm sorry, but when you say something like "I don't care about whether you are being logical or not, or whether those bashing Starbucks are actually making any sense or not." it sort of pisses me off. If all you want to do is just blindly bash something, or someone, and don't care about making sense, or being "logical", just write it on the bathroom wall next time.

   And cruisy is only annoying because he is always picking fights.

   What I am referring to is when some random who looks like a company shill comes on and stars in the usual garbage. They might sound quite articulate, but why are they on a site dedicated to hating Starbucks, talking about how cool it is? It doesn't make sense.

   And I do like intelligent discussions, about hating Starbucks... I guess what I am saying is, (and again, you are not one of the people I was in any way referring to) why is someone wasting their time on this site if they love Starbucks?

   And as the admin has said before, this site isn't just for employees, it's for anyone who hates Starbucks, a rival coffee shop owner, someone who is sick of seeing them on every corner, or hearing about their fake social responsibility. Or their corrupt business practices or what have you.

   I can see your point, thanks for the clearification. I wasn't taking your post personally either btw. I just know, more then a few times I have been flamed for "coming to the defense of" Starbucks, when in fact, I was more going after idiocey then I was supporting Starbucks.

   I agree with you. Just Say No! Someone on the outside has absolutely no idea what it's like to work for the Green Monster. As a customer, you get us to kiss your feet, even if you treat us like garbage (which too many of them do). If you're not a customer, then why do you care, oh, besides seeing the Green Monster on every GD corner, defacing small towns and cities everywhere on this planet???

    I put myself through college working three jobs (none of which was Slavebucks) and have been on my own since I was 18 (I'm 25 now), so I know a thing or two about the real world. Not sure if that comment was directed at me, but seriously, though, what are you, Cruisy? A customer defending the empire of Starbucks? I've only been on this site for like a month, but it looks to me like YOU are the one trying to stir things on this website.

    Strange, dragonfly123, I made the same observation of ole cruisy as well!
    I was under the perception that (and this has been said to DEATH) this site was a place to vent our frustrations and grievances with the venemous Siren and her minions, or to simply discuss our experiences.

    people can hate starbucks for various reasons. they can love their team but hate the petty, picky, impatient customers. they can love the customers but hate their SM. they can love being a barista but hate the confines working at a big chain store, where innovation isn't as accepted.

    so that might be one explanation.
