this really makes no sense at all. I dont understand why they would take down your plate number if you did nothing wrong.

Sounds like you're leaving out some important information...

Ummm....so, you were at Sbux, ozarka, and I'm assuming you were using the wi-fi through AT&T, right? What were you doing that caused the cops to be called and you to be asked to leave? I don't mean to be brash, but, were you watching something on your laptop that may be risqué? Just wondering....

Did you take photos of female customers or baristas?
(This sounds like something that may have happened at our store)Posted 3 years ago # -
I agree with decaff4u, I don't think we have all the details, certianly not enough to answer any of your questions.

lol you seem sketchy just by your post...i would've called the cops too!

Looks like this is a company disinfomation web site ... notice how God brings harm upon my enemies Mcdonalds today said it was going to start FREE wifi Jan 5 2010 ... starbucks prices always were above the the market to make up for in margin their lack of menue ... The chain may go the way of the rootbeer stands and the creep that didnt want my business next assignment is unemploymen.. arrogance in the retail space has a short life span ... saying one thing doing another american industry is on the way out and can't go head with the chineese in any thing ...

I still have no idea what you are talking about? Except that McDonalds is offering Wifi (which I heard on the ews today as well). You are so cryptic.

wierdo.
Posted 3 years ago # -
ozarka, you are f'd up
Posted 3 years ago # -
The chain could easily go the way of the rootbeer stand ... its tries too be snooty with high prices ... MCD has a better foundation both in produce and price especially in recessionary times ... as any good businessman will tell you you don't run off you customers . Over the years I have spent well over 1500 dollars with them... I don't have to do anything just sit back and watch the market innovate, they have serious competition now. I bet the creep that picked a argument with me never retires from Starbucks and inside a year will be looking for another minimum wadge job and that is exactly what he and his generation deserve

Its a terrable time to be young, I promise you that
Posted 3 years ago # -
A. You still haven't said why you were asked to leave?
B. How are you comparing Starbucks and Mcdonalds?
C. Even with price changes a few weeks ago, our regulars and others still visit. No one understands where you are trying to go with this statement? Are you just some old paranoid? Do you really think that Starbucks is taking down your license plate? And if you did, you must have f'd up something big.

No one has said if it is company policy to confront non purchasers and demand a purchase or be asked to leave after 30 minutes
Posted 3 years ago # -
@ozarka: you're asked that out of consideration of other PAYING customers who may want a place to sit and work. Duh! I'm beginning to wonder if you're a paranoid schizophrenic, with your conspiracy theory and propaganda rambling......btw, McDonalds is not real food. I wouldn't do business there for that reason alone.

There were seats on the other side of the store ... or the kid could have said " were very busy as you can see" but that would have been a lie, and i would taken the hint, then come back in 15 minutes with a confrontation if a confrontation is necessary
short starbucks stock ...
So it is the policy then and I say surely your sin will find you out and BK is definatly in the cards ...
Posted 3 years ago # -
Confrontation?
Sin?
BK=British Knights?
If you were behaving in any way similar to how you're conducting yourself here, I can understand the barista's concern!
Please elaborate CONCISELY in a form of present-day English, hold the prose, thank you.Posted 3 years ago # -
BK = Enron ... sin equals a retail transgression like insulting customers with the ability to buy your firms product

Okay everyone, there is something seriously wrong with "ozarka". As a matter of fact, this person is creepy. Hmmm...maybe someone from corporate? The reason I say that is because corporate, just like ozarka, doesn't make any sense. More specifically, as has been discussed on this board, corporate creates these policies that look good on paper, but in theory, do not work when applied in the real world.

You still haven't said why they had taken your plate number. Or why the police was called, if they even were, its hard to tell since your first post was so irratic. Anyway you really seem like you were creeping the staff out. and you were loitering, no one likes that.

I curse you SBUX I curse you ... You now have two years to find a minimun wadge job
Posted 3 years ago # -
Crammer hates this company
Posted 3 years ago # -
Mm-kay, paranoid schizophrenia it is!
Posted 3 years ago # -
And you all thought my views were radical? Lol.
Posted 3 years ago # -
this is really entertaining...especially when he is telling me to get a minimum wage job, but can't spell minimum or wage...and am i the only one who really wants to know if the police was called?!? lol
Posted 3 years ago # -
probably sitting in the parking lot in his car using the wifi. yes, that does creep people out. i've call the cops b/c of that. especially if it's at night.
Posted 3 years ago # -
lmao just ignore the schizo and he'll go away. if we keep replying he'll keep on going on and on.
Posted 3 years ago # -
P.S. 3 words for you Ozarka...TAKE YOUR MEDICATION. :)
Posted 3 years ago # -
He still never said why the police were called, but after all his rambling in other posts, he makes me wonder if he's the same guy who came to our store.
