123nat, don't encourage him! But you are right about the last part. Disgustomers have no right to complain. They are there voluntarily, throwing their money, and closing small businesses who do more for our community than those greedy, evil chains.
And, cruisy, seriously? You don't think that there should be consequences to people's actions? I am not sure what's more disturbing. The fact that you may be just a customer who has no life and enjoys coming on here and messing with us, or whether you truly believe the garbage that comes out of your mouth. Both options are equally terrifying. I want ALL OF UPPER MANAGEMENT to be held accountable for the way us baristas are treated. The very least they can do is pay that poor guy's last paycheck, and YES, I hope whoever is causing him all this trouble gets in trouble. There's nothing wrong with wanting some justice in this world, so Cruisy, perhaps you should mind your own business and get a life.

ahh, cruisy, i thought we had this talk in the kiosk worker's post. i thought you were going to at least *try* to be less of a...disgustomer? try a little harder. at first i thought maybe i was just a b1tch and reading too much into your posts, but...looks like everyone is in agreement. perhaps there's an http://www.ilovecorporatescum.com? hahaha oh wow that's awesome. the space can go before or after the "s" i meant "corporate scum" but the other is equally fitting.

mill - that sucks. after i read this i txtd my manager and told him not to charge me for anything, he could have it all back!
again, i can't stress enough how awesome that corporate integrity number is, but it sounds like you've pretty much got it covered. i'm glad you're getting the last word. oh and if you need a hat, i'll totally mail you one.saturday was officially my last day, guys. i made sure to get my markout today (at a different store) though. i want my collection of overpriced tea tins to be complete!

UPDATE!!!! ok so i was the guy who starbucks woudnt give him his last paycheck until he returned their **** hat which he lost. anyway...i was told that NO i COULD NOT replace it with another used one, or pay for another used hat...he was told that he wasnt getting his paycheck period without it!!!! anyway...yours truly did EVERYTHING in his power to get it back. and get it back he did. he called the store manager...no responce. ok....next....payroll....nice enough people, were gonna work on it and get back to me, they didnt really.....next up.....the DM!!!! she was a complete female dog about it.....so yours truly called the labor board in virginia and got them on the case!!!!! welp....what do you know!!?!?!? THAT worked like a charm!!!!! went in, got my check, all smiles, not ONE WORD about a uniform of any kind.....

thanks to everyone who helped me out online...and i will always come to this site because i love it and i truly do hate starbucks....
if your still there and feeling stuck...hang in there. there are other jobs out there, its just hard right now. just know that someone out in the world knows how you feel. all the best.
