I just had really bad day, it started when the economy went down and me as ASM was asked to step down or quit, because I was leaving country to visit my family for 3 weeks I wasn't able to quit and look for another job and I step down and had to relocate, too....everything was going o.k. until I started to hear that other ASMs what were asked to step down same time as me, are back in their positions or even better has already their store...I didn't complain and took it how it is and I was patient....but after we hired one woman for shift position then all the drama and problems started....she wouldn't know mark the drinks or make them, she didn't know any shift supervisor duties and her schedule was always weekends off and just morning shifts and even sometimes 3 days off and always she went home early even we were under labor...and all sneaking in the back room with our manager and whispering...
Well today I just got the news, non of the store in our district earn ASM, but somehow she was promoted to ASM and she does know nothing....like roasting plan order, paper order, how to check sales by SKU, or even how to print paper form for payroll to sign you check...
I don't know what is going on....and while ago when I told to my SM when I would be able to speak to our DM about my ASM position, she said to me with sarcasm "no, you don't want to be manager"

dang, that sucks. Perhaps you are just a careless typist, but reading your post, I infer that English is not your native language. If this is the case, that would probably contribute to you getting skipped over for promotions as fcked up as that sounds. If that isn't the case, disregard that, I'm a ****

no careless, yes I am from Slovakia and English is one of my other languages I speak, but that was not problem, because I was already offered to be SM one week before the economy crashed...I used to do schedules, hiring, firing, pay roll, all the SM duties...just I had one concern if SM can take 3 weeks vacation at a time since when I go back to my country I can't go just for one week...and I never got my answer..by the way my DM was worse in spelling or writing ....
