this guy came in yesterday listening to his ipod and ordered 5 drinks. he had both earbuds in his ears while placing his order. first I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he had turned the ipod OFF before ordering, but after the first few orders he pulled it out and started changing the song completely ignoring me when I asked him if he wanted whipped cream on his cinnamon dolce latte or whatever the heck it was.
am I not WORTHY of a second of your full attention?
it's always the customers like that who do **** like that and get mad if we got their drink order wrong because they're too busy talking and texting and and sending emails and listening to music and playing games and god knows what.
I honestly feel like a teacher in a classroom full of high school freshmen sometimes I just want to yell "PUT THE PHONE DOWN. PUT YOUR IPOD AWAY. STOP TALKING TO YOUR FRIENDS AND PAY ATTENTION."
