   okay... nothing bothers me more than a customer saying "I want a FRESH piece of marble loaf" when I try and tell them, "THEY ALL JUST WENT OUT LIKE 10 MINUTES AGO, SAME FRESHNESS" but just to humor the lady, I picked one from the middle of the stack. that didn't satisfy her, she wanted it warmed up TOO.

   as I'm grabbing it out of the oven I drop the tongs... so I just grab out backup set of tongs and use those to take her loaf out of the oven. I turn around and make sure to say, "HERE YOU GO, HAVE A GREAAAT DAY!" and she looks and me all crazy and yells, "DID YOU JUST DROP MY MARBLE LOAF?!?!?!?"

   yeah, ****. I just dropped your **** food on the ground IN FRONT OF YOU and handed it to you. dumb ****. this lady was **** crazy.

   when I'm taking out a lemon loaf or any kind of loaf, I can tell right away whether it's hard or not... and guess what! I don't give out the hard ones! this lady was just annoying as **** and I wish I actually HAD dropped her **** 500 calorie loaf on the ground and given it to her.

   A lady once asked me if the prepackaged, cut fruit was fresh. She then got REALLY offended when I asked her what she meant, explaining that no, we don't pick and cut the fruit here, however, we do adhere to strict standards of what goes out (Sorta) and if anything, I'd say that we suffer from our fruit being underripe then anything else.

   We also have a lot of people who complain about the state of our bananas. In New York, in the middle of winter. . .

   Oh, oh, oh!!! I know how to fix that! When I open, I always put the smallest pieces of the loaf to the front and underneath, that way when a person makes me grab one that is inconveniently located, I know they are getting a crappy piece muahahaha. So as I hand it over, oh trust me that smile is genuine, mehehehehe.

   God I hate it when ppl want the middle piece, as if we dont put out the whole new loaf! The middle piece is no more fresh than the rest of it!! I've got a line of ppl and drinks to make. Accept the piece I get for you. And those fat *** ladies who get extremely **** each day when we run out of lemom loaf..GTFO!!

   How about when they want the marble loaf with the "a lot of chocolate swirl" and make you search for one that is more chocolaty than the rest. Or when they want a specific piece of coffee cake because it looks bigger than all the rest. Explaining that they're all precut and exactly the same size never seems to help though, but appeasing people makes me a little nauseous sometimes.
