So there's a contest on facebook for people to vote and get The Pumpkin Spice Latte in their region a week early. Do people really like them that much? I tried one today because we got a Pumpkin Spice syrup for partner samples & it's pretty good. A guy asked for one today and I was like, "well we can't make it" and he got a little mad so I offered to do it anyways and my manager caught me lol! she said I couldn't make it for him. kinda dumb.

PSL = the only flavored latte I can drink. Sugar in coffee tastes so disgusting to me, just really artificial. I only drink cofee or americanos. Unless, of course, its the season of the miraculous PSL <3333333333

Punkin Spice Frapp (yes I said it)=gross. Punkin Roll on the other hand is delicious, but not a Starbucks product. Then there is my favorite, Punkin Pie Cake, half punkin pie, half yellow cake with a nutty streusel topping, yum yum.

Haha that's number two for the night. UNORIGINAL! But, I do say, I kind of feel really sorry for the people clamoring for it. Perhaps it's the only thing they look forward to during the onset of holiday.
Then I realize I have to deal with them, and those hoppers are always brimming with either decaf espresso or decaf pike.

I've had the pumpkin spice lattes, and they're ok. It's nice and festive when you've come out of the cold November Rain, but to enjoy on Labor Day? Too hot and WAY too early. (I view that about all the holidays. I wanna enjoy each fall month's holiday before the next. Starting with my birthday in Sept.)

I'm not a fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes or any variation of such. Our customers are already begging for them. Is it me or is the Pumpkin Spice pump ridiculously hard? I hate fighting with the stupid pump. But what I DO LOVE are the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins! I can't wait for those to come back!

I heard today that Chicago won the contest? Apparently just the city limits though, not the suburbs... @XH_Latte... YES!!!! OMG and I don't even like anything pumpkin... and yet those muffins were the best. food. ever. I see a lot of mark outs in my future. And yeah, people have actually come through the drive thru to ask when we're getting pumpkin spice. Really, do you have nothing better to do with your time???

I went down to the stock room tonight, saw the pumps, and freaked out. Then I was on bar and saw we already have a pump out. **** YEAH. It was all I could do to keep making drinks and not just stop and make myself a PSL.

I do like the psl but it tastes like crap with soy. I used to get it in fraps before they changed them. SO good.

Totally overrated! I like the cranberry bliss bars, but come on people, they are just good. They're not worth pulling your hair out over because you weren't able to buy an entire box. People just in general need to get a life.

Oh yeah, pumpkin cream cheese muffins! Those were tasty. And pumpkin scones. I guess I just don't think pumpkin goes very well with coffee... I could see the steamer tasting good though. But as GYD said, just good, not OMG THIS IS THE BEST THING EVAR.
I remember a while ago before I was a partner they had chocolate cream cheese muffins... now THOSE were good. But I haven't seen them since :C
Grossest holiday food? Freakin polar bear cookies. I think they last 90 days unopened and 11 days opened or something gross like that. What did they even put in it to make it last so long?!

polar bear cookies were hard as a fuxking rock and no one wanted to buy them. the cranberry bliss bars are about $2.25 for a tiny sliver of BAR. I can't believe people pay for that.

I didn't try the cranberry bliss bars during my first holiday season at the Bux... I started working for the company at the end of November and was all discombobulated because this job is hard to get used to... so I was too thrown off with all the new stuff to even care to try the pastries or many drinks. Last holiday season though... yeah, I tried the cranberry bliss bars and I do think they're delicious. But... @lightningscar, that's my problem with them too and why I ended up "damaging" several last year. That's a lot of money for not a lot of pastry.

You think polar bear cookies are good?! Oh my gosh, those are the grossest thing ever. Even the frosting is hard lmao! At my old store we would sometimes throw them at each other as a joke, because they wouldn't break hahaha.
