Hi, folks. I am a longtime partner, who has been lurking here a while. Reading some of your stories has helped me get through the last few months, which have been really challenging at my store for a variety of reasons. Anyway, I saw a topic about Fall drinks, but I was wondering if anyone else was in the test market for the Apple Crumble latte? We are going to have to start serving this slop next week, and it is nasty. Who comes up with this stuff?

Apple crumble????? latte???
I really wish we got ACTUAL apple cider, and not just Apple Juice, it really makes all the difference.
I really am actually looking forward to the salted caramel mocha creme one though. It isn't mocha AND caramel,it's just carameldriz

How do you make that?? Sounds nasty but I thought SCHC would be too.

There's an apple flavored syrup, and you make it like a regular latte with shots and milk. Thenit gets topped with whip, apple drizzle, and shortbread crumbles. The crumbles rock, and we are already playing with them in frappuccinos. But the apple flavor with the coffee....gag! It's not bad as just a steamer, though. I don't think it will be a hit at all, so it probably won't make it out of the test market. We start serving it to customers next week when Fall 1 starts, so we'll see what they think, I guess.

I say screw the espresso shots, and the hot apple latte altogether. I'd substitute the strawberry puree in a STCF and add the apple syrup instead. Whip cream that sucker, add the drizzle and shortbread crumbles.
EDIT: Apple syrup + CD syrup + syrup creme frapp + CR drizz = caramel-apple frappucino? just a thought.
