The Bodum coffee press isn't half-bad. I bought one about 3 weeks into my hire, because I was stealing home all of the opened coffee-tasting bags.
so, what did YOU get this week?

I'm just cheap and don't like spending money on anything. But I'd much rather spend $20ish than settle for the terrible k-cup "gourmet coffee" my complex comps. I'll probably wait for one to go on clearance because I found that I could use my broken press if I fill it halfway and use the v-shaped crack halfway down the press as a spout. Did I mention I'm a college student?

I feel your pain, sirens eye... :] I got a nice like-new press at a thrift store for $5, but it was probably worth at least $25 (cause I'm classy and $25 = expensive). I would recommend scouting out the area before buying something new.
Also, wtf is a K-cup? I saw they were selling them at Dunkin Donuts last time I went there (aw yiss pumpkin donuts) and I had no clue what they were. I thought they were pudding cups at first, but I guess they're coffee?

I always mark out a pound of italian for my boyfriends mom,who is usually so thankful, she gives me 20$
I don't drink coffee, and our tea sucks.

K cups (Keurig)are pre-portioned single serving grounds, flavouring, etc. packets or cups that are brewed by proprietary machines that only brew K cups. They're a neat idea but the coffees are terrible, the cocoa and latte drinks are even worse and at $.50-$.85 a cup buying in bulk, they only make 10oz. But now Starbucks is rolling out their own for all the world to enjoy! :DDDDDDDDDD
-.-
I'm totally down on all my local thrift stores but no one here is classy enough to have a french press ;) I do get all my mugs there though. /sip broken press coffee out of jack skellington's head

I get a box of tea every week but I don't drink it very often. I feel like a hoarder with this mountain of Tazo tins in my cabinet. Friends and family are often horrified when they take a peek at my tea selection but I take comfort knowing that if I were ever rendered unable to leave the house, I would never run out of my precious Zen!

I've been meaning to buy a french press... That is until I took a look at our new retail! Bought the ceramic pour over brewer we got in today as soon as I got my hands on it! My dad uses one and swears by it and I refuse to use my roommates moldy coffee maker so at 10 bucks with my 30% discount it was really hard to pass up :)

Past two weeks markout has been Red. Next up is probably that Antigua what-not, although I'm really a strong coffee person. I'm sure a not-dark-as-night roast will be good in a french press, so we'll find out.

@Dry Sharpie- this is what I bought (not that ugly mug though :P)

I got orange blossom since I still have a full unopened bag of Espresso Roast sitting in my cabinet. I should probably open it and start using it on my Rancilio Silvia espresso machine that I saved up for and bought with 'bux wages.

I got a good haul tonight in markouts. The street value of this bag of paninis/bistro boxes is $86.05.
