Grande-nonfat-nowhip-PSL
Trenta(Yea I said it) PTL with splenda. That is it...rest of the time I'm at home with the wine.
Any other starbucks I ever go to(other than mine) always, very loudly says to a coworker something about a heavy person getting nonfat milk will not help them. Jerk offs...I have PCOS...

quadshort is my official barista bro (or bro-ette).
My drinks of choice.......
Tall Pike in a mug left to sit in the back for ten minutes so that I can chug it.
Quad tall Americano made with a little hot but mostly cold water so I can chug it on my breaks/the beginning of a shift
Tall Black Eye
Iced Grande Hazelnut Iced Coffee
Iced Venti Hazelnut Soy Starbucks DoubleshotI hardly get the last two anymore but when I was new and having fun making the drinks still those were my favorites. Don't see why y'all hate on Pike so much. As far as all of our coffees go, it's pretty **** decent, and this is coming from someone who's a total coffee snob that French presses coffee at home every single day and owns a Rancilio Silvia home espresso machine. The best coffees we have by far are the Mexico and Verona, followed closely by Guatemala and I'd have to say Pike is in the top 3 or 4 just due to its being a lighter roast. I would say Breakfast blend but I honestly hate it. That's just personal preference though. Three region blend was a terrible coffee as was the Product (RED). Tribute was only okay and I don't know which seasonals were out before tribute as I got hired during peak Tribute season.

@trenta_full_of_FML: call them out on it. Start shouting at the barista for being absolutely disrespectful and intolerant, and demand to see their shift supervisor. No one deserves to be ridiculed, on either side of the counter.

I can only make myself a frapp/drink if there's no one important around.
Double Chocolate Chip - Extra mocha & chips.
Now that it's here - Salted Caramel Mocha Frapp - Love it.
Iced vanilla cream - No whip [sometimes I like to get it with whip], extra caramel.
Mainly when I close - Iced venti Passion Tea Lemonade - 3 pump CL, 3 pump RAnd last...
I always go home with a venti iced water.

A small shot cup of whatever coffee with steamed milk [mini misto? lol] And a pound of sugar of course.Posted 1 year ago # -
@Dry Sharpie, I've thought about it. But I know how that tends to go. One time they gave me half and half...instead of nonfat...and gave me whip. I returned it, very upset. I ended up being told by the shift that I didn't order correctly. I was just fuming so hard by then. Lucky for me my husband told them i had PCOS and messing with my drink would make me very sick and that he wasn't above going to the top of the chain to get them fired. I just normally stay away from other starbucks because of that. How meanly the 'fat' people get treated sometimes. Not cool. Some of us have medical issues that can't be helped and depress us enough. Bah! /vent

I would have complained directly to corporate. Take down names, the time, store location, the drink you ordered and what you received. Corporate will come down heavy on the store especially when the complaint is very specific and reasonable. Sometimes people think they can get away with small slights, but it will come back to bite them in the as$.

chiming in to agree with dry sharpie. pleassse complain.
Im sorry that happened to you. people are just awful :-(

Oh my gosh, I can't believe baristas would be so effin rude! That would never fly at my store. I am not saying we don't make fun of customers, but let me be very clear that each and every time, it is directly associated with that person's behavior.

@trenta_full_of_FML: As a barista that's something I would actually call and complain about. I find that completely unacceptable behavior.

A venti black/passion tea lemonade with 3 pumps classic, 3 pumps raspberry.
So good.
Also, iced coffee with vanilla and breve. Simple, but fantastic.Posted 1 year ago # -
Two pump classic and a lil' scoop of ice quad espresso.
And, trenta's situation seems to be partners gone far astray from acceptable fuckery- we're not supposed to target the innocent, only the weiners. I third or fourth or fifth (SOLIDARITY) the motion to report them.
Once again, another reason why I'm trying to curb the fatphobic comments I make- it's awful, but sometimes I find myself muttering something really snide (such as, if they get nonfat, 'oh yeah that's going to help' or ..really, just about anything not an unsweetened tea or iced coffee 'this'un probably fell off the wagon') while marking a cup and at the hand-off plane, the heavy person turns out to be a total sweetheart or awesome dude. And I feel awful.
In fact, just about everything about this job makes me feel awful. It's really warped me and I need to fix that.

Grande 7-pump, whole milk, no foam, chai.

[sniffs the air]
I smell a no-foam drinker.
We're onto you buddy.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Whole milk and no foam??? How do we take your internets away? Lol.
Posted 1 year ago # -
I don't like foam or whip. It's just useless to me. Feels like fungus and it's just not appealing to me. At all. But, I guess as a barista I maybe shouldn't say that?
But, its better then these shmucks who only work at starbucks so they can drink their frappasses and backfat.Posted 1 year ago # -
Trenta 43 pump no milk no ice chai. Kidding. But I wonder if you could steam a pitcher of it like the apple juice?
Really, a for-here cappuccino sometimes with 1 CD before my shift and whatever got made by accident anytime else.

Water. Plain and simple.

@DTQueen, Yea well, being a once barista myself, I know that sometimes the shifts just give the look and a slap on the wrist. *Shrugs* No reason to waste my time!
I did let the main branch know. I got an 'I'm sorry, we'll deal with them' ....Okie...but what are you going to do to them? I want to knooowww.
