The one that you come across towards the end of your 8 hour shift, or during a rush that seems to last forever, who just drives you over the edge! I find that there is always ONE customer that makes me just want to walk off the floor and go home forever.
Today, it was a woman during a rush, 5 minutes after I was supposed to leave, that was harrassing my coworker at the POS. I was working on bar, trying to keep up after a last-minute drink change. The line was getting longer and the customers were getting louder and I was already stressing when I heard her. My coworker gave me "the look" when handing me her cup and I had already pushed that little blue button. She comes to the hand-off plane and immediately starts interrogating me.. "You got my cup right? Venti non-fat latte???" "Yes, its In my queue, as you can see its a little crazy in here right now." She overheard someone asking for a latte with classic, then she decides SHE wants classic in her latte. Because I was feeling b!tchy I said yes of course you can but that modifier costs extra so you'll have to go back to the line to pay for it. She flashed her gold card at me and I was like "the price will come off when your card swipes but the syrup still needs to be accounted for." "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I have to get back in line?!?!?!"
Anyway, she did, got her drink, asked more unnecessary questions, holding up my line and keeping my attention away from the 50000 drinks I had to make. After her was a gentleman who was very nice and understanding when I became flustered after he tried to tell me how to make his SKVL (I hadn't steamed enough milk and was steaming more when he was like "put more milk in that?")
AHHHHH end of work rant over >.<
