Edited for clarity: if you make any sort of attempt to be nice, you get caffeine. But unfortunately, as a disgustomer, you won't.
... that Venti 8 shot extra, extra, extra stirred 12 pump White Mocha actually is only getting 2 decaf shots with 5 pumps White Mocha after you constantly complain that it's too bitter.

Oh, and thanks also for ordering an iced trenta 6 shot, not completing your order, then when I tell you you can only get iced coffee or iced tea in the trenta cup, insisting that you did order iced coffee (although you didn't say it!) and telling me that if he wanted shots in a trenta cup, I would give it to him. Lol. Be glad I'm never making your drink again, because you got decaf every time I saw you after that.
I've offered to wrench a Mastrena out of its prison and give it to this cool guy who comes in several times a day for just a solo or doppio. Then I realized with further investigation, his Bux runs to my store are basically his tens/little escapes from being a real world superhero. Like, taking care of terminally ill family/raising much younger siblings superhero. I started just fudging Simphony and charging him an add shot in an incomplete grande drink order with a cup discount, because he refuses to not pay.
People can and do suck.

I always want to offer the multiple time a day customers some decent superautomatics because they probably spend at least a hundred a month on stuff that's pretty much free to us.

Probably not, we never get borrow partners because my SM is paranoid. But we should each get these regulars' phone numbers so we can hook them up and maybe they'll move somewhere far away together.

I shake my head when I think about customers ordering decaf espresso drinks. Our store has a few different regulars who order quad+ iced decaf.
I know some people can't have caffeine and they love coffee, but I just can't see paying 5 bucks for it.
I just don't get the extra decaf shots... like, getting an extra shot in a latte makes sense if you want more caffeine, but paying 70 effing cents for another shot of decaf?? You can't like the taste of coffee that much!!!
And we had a guy who would order 6 shots and also a venti coffee. Every. Single. Morning. I often joked about decaffing him, not because he wasn't a nice guy but because it would be better for his health. LOL!
Good God, 16 shots? That can't be good for your head or colon. :\
I was working one night several years back and someone literally got a venti hot up full of nothing but espresso. Apparently he didn't have a problem sleeping that night and drank another 9 shots the next morning. Ironically enough, it wasn't a customer...it was my co-worker that night. He was a pretty big guy too. I still can't see how he was pretty much fine with all that espresso...unless he had a high tolerance to it.
