This is projected more towards the former partners/partners that have been with SBux for several years, but anyone can chime in. In your time with SBux, what are the things you've hated most such as pastries and drinks and some of the merchandise we've had over the years.
I can think of several syrups we've had that I just had to instantly question why we came out with them. The most recent ones were Honey and Sugar-free Mocha. Remember those? How were we supposed to sell a Honey Latte when it tasted like crap. The only thing remotely "Honey" about that latte was the drizzle we put on top...and that was actual honey I think. The syrup however, not so much.
Who could forget Sugar-free Mocha? Seriously...who? It was so bad I tasted it once and never did again. I can't see how we made a Mocha syrup as thin as Vanilla. It was just bad.
Orange was a shoddy knock-off of Valencia. I wish we'd bring that back as it was quite good. Bring back Blackberry too. But Orange? Let's try and sell that Orange Mocha. Don't even get me started on the Orange Passion Tea Lemonade.
I even remember the Maple Macchiato and the Maple Frappuccino. Nothing says "Mmmm...no" like a freaking pancake in a cup.
I just wish we could go back and decide to keep the good stuff and never even try the crappy stuff.
