this is what i posted as a comment to his article. hes such an 'a'hole!!
umm, i think that maybe what you don't understand is that your comments are extremely insulting to people who actually work at starbucks. the employees are given a script that they have to say to every car in drive thru. and no, we cant just not say it becuase our district managers make periodical and unscheduled stops at our stores and go thru our drive thru to make sure we are operating as we are supposed to. you seem like a fairly intelligent, if not sensitive or perceptive, guy. we often have to upsell an item during the order process, and we know you most likely dont want what were offering, so we get it out of the way first thing. also, the majority of our customers, as you seem to have noted, get rediculous 'froufy' as you called them drinks so they do want something similar to what we offer. however, i wouldnt expect some self-important office schmuck who thinks that people actually care what he says and who can afford to go to some high-priced gym and waste 6 dollars on smoothie would really understand the problems and frustrations of a mere second class hard working citizen such as myself.
