Hello board. been at starbucks for about 6 months. I called out twice for sickness and for a personal reason once. ive been late around six times but i haven't recieved a single write up. is it possible to fire me without one? ive recived a few "ok.dont do it again" warnings but ive never signed any corrective action forms can my sm just give me one big FINAL warning and put that in my file? I dont want to be fired at all, but I find it strange that everyone else gets written up left and write at my store but ive never been written up. (one barista is on her final warning but still calls out and comes in late) Im afraid they are gonna look at my time and attendance and see that ive been slipping under the radar.
can i be fired without a write up

Dude, six months and you can recall every single time you've been late... You're probably fine. And they can't fire you for calling in for valid reasons... twice. OR at least they shouldn't.

As far as state law is concerned, yes.. but it's not really starbucks policy to terminate partners without a paper trail. At the least, you'd be issued a final corrective action and informed that another instance of being late will result in you being let go.
