So, firstly, I hope everyone had a good Halloween.
I just wanna share what my Halloween 2011 experience was like.
Holiday wise, it was lovely. I dressed up starting from Friday to till Monday, really taking advantage of some blood make up tips I picked up over the years. Peep it

Teaser costume, not my Resident Evil outfit
(No, I still don't get the HTML on here, and im over trying to learn LOL)
Work wise, it was a double edged sword. Most the blade swiped in my favor. I work Friday-Monday, so naturally, it was cause for the most lucrative work week ever in my history of working there. I made enough money to pay my rent for months lol. I wish every weekend was like that. Also, it was reason to wear my contacts/makeup/T-Virus look every relevant Halloween day. Very awesome.
Halloween day, however, aka the most trying shift of my life, was a very difficult day. I got there late because the parade was cutting me off, right down 6th ave, so I couldn't go directly to work. I suppose I should've forseen this. But what really kicked my **** about the whole thing was that I had to madddd uptown to be able to cross over, then go to 5th ave, and then go down to 17th street AGAIN. And it was mad slow moving and packed. And MADDDDD people were taking/wanted to take pictures with me. And I put a lot of work into my costume, and i'm kind of an attention ****, and it was really fun being in character - so I totally went along with it. Hundreds of pictures taken. Hundreds. Shxt was nuts.
I get there, and it was DUMB packed, the owner of the club was there (and he is NOT the one to fxck with) and they understaffed the barbacks, so its me and one other person trying to keep **** together while it was falling apart faster than i've ever seen. Place was totally trashed. And my patience was getting tried all day. From a manager YELLING at me and almost hitting me with his water bottle because I stocked my bar with too much ice (Funny, they had the foresight to staff an extra manager and several extra bartenders, but the actually staffed one less barback then usual. Nor did they have to foresight to order more ice, because I dunno, we'd run through it? I get there later on Mondays, I don't know what's going on, I try to do my best to help. So it was kind of a debby downer) to me punching a drunk guy because he thought I was trying to steal his boyfriend and started a fight. Also, everyone must've been on E, because the patrons were abusing me like NEVER before. It was wild.
BUT. I made RIDICULOUS in that one night. So. I guess it was worth it. I can use more nights like that.
Anyways, since I had to work, I couldn't enjoy myself in costume. But if you thought that was going to stop me, you're very much mistaken, because I plan on going out in costume TODAY to wage one final last stand against the populace. I'm walking from WTC to Times Square baby!
How was everyone else's Halloween? Did you get to dress up?
