I WISH I had a story. The partner I've mentioned on here before (who I can't quite forget about unfortunately) is so far out of my league that anytime he even speaks to me outside of work context I'm still totally baffled. Every time I think I have a chance I bring myself back to reality when he talks about something really neat and scientific that he's going to school for and I have NO idea what he's talking about. That's what I get for being attracted to the ridiculously smart ones.

Every single guy i've ever had anything with was "completely out of my league". And each time I totally bagged, much to my surprise.
But I think this current crush totally takes the cake. I am going to ask him out tomorrow, despite this erratic fear of OH MY GOD but I am usually really good with picking up cues if someone is into me. When they're not, they're not, and its usually often and its obvious LOL
But when they are, it is just as obvious. Boys are easy to read. This guy is definitely giving me all the signs but he is so freaking handsome it makes no sense.
With that said, NYC, I need to know more about this guy so I can totally tell you if he's into you or not LOL

Awww happy for you!!!! I wish I was more confident. It takes a lot for me to crush on someone so when I crush I crush HARD. Sooo, anyways.. I hadn't seen this boy in almost a week and he randomly showed up tonight to say hi to all of us when I was preclosing.(hmm?) I was SO excited to see him and he seemed happy to see me and we talked about books and school and all things nerdy..but I hear he's in the process of getting back together with his old GF so I should stop this overanalyzing nonsense and just accept him as is..my bud. But it's so so hard when you genuinely care about someone and have so much in common with him. And he's such a cutie! Ugh!

This is true! I need to learn how to stick out my neck more and not be so scared of rejection. It's not the worst thing in the world. Plus if he says no, I'll know for sure and the stupid guessing games will be over and done with. And I really need it to be over and done with, haha.

There's nothing wrong with fearing rejection. Its actually cute and is indicative of caring. There's something very sweet about making yourself vulnerable to a boy.
However, you shouldn't let it keep you from asking. I can't imagine what life would be like if I never asked the boys I wanted out. I am very no bullshxt, just go for it! I know what I got is bomb, if they want to miss out, then its their loss.
Although it never seems like that. Trust me, real recognizes real.

Sooo things didn't work out, but I'm totally alright with it seeing as how I wasn't expecting him to just forget about this other girl. I won't see him for a few days so I'm happy about that and I feel really settled and happy for some reason...MAYBE because I was totally randomly approached by this cute boy who told me he likes my walk and made me laugh within 30 seconds of meeting him. He's got a great job at the hospital near my store and although I'm not entirely sure why, he invited me to lunch tomorrow! Super excited.

Super late on the story thing but I just have to say that when I met my boyfriend, I relentlessly made it extremely glaringly obvious that I was into him from day one despite him being amazing and myself at the time thinkin I was less than worthy. That's the best part, how he made me feel about myself. We've been together for over two years now an still going strong. It's all about knowing what you want and going after it with passion!
Hope everything works out with everyone's respective love interests!! Sounds lame, but this is totally my favorite subject :P
