Ironically, i've never been hit on when at 33rd & 5th. Well, I have, but by women, and it was never creepy. But when I worked at Princeton, NJ with all those creepy, nasty, greasy, and old rich white men, they would hit on meeeee like nothingggg. Ugh, this one time, this dude tried to follow me in the bathroom and convince me to roadtrip with him to Philly. I told the shift I was like, "UMMMMM, this isn't my store, and I know this is a small town, I don't wanna give yall a bad rap because I am only here for a month and ya customers don't know how to act. Is he a regular?" I explained to her what happened, she half believed me... Then I was doing a sweep and he comes up to me and says something to the effect, "I love latino, especially Puerto Ricans. You're from Puerto Rico, right? [Something about Puerto Ricans and big pieces]
The shift's name was Sara. Sara was standing right there next to him and her face was like =0!!!
She saved me by telling me to go do something in the back. So I go and she comes back there like a minute later and was like, "That was some shxt." And we had a lil talk about how the men here LOVE to hit on the girls and are creepy, but that was a first they targeted a guy. She said she felt so awkward seeing a guy (me) get "violated" like that.
To be honest, it didn't bother me that much, I was just afraid that the store was thinking I was condoning that behavior by being too nice to him and would not let me work any more shifts there, since they were doing me a favor by letting me work there to begin with
