Would she asked for a tall in a venti? Yeah, I charge for grande in that situation.
One small victory in an endless war. Congratulations eyeadapt.
haha nice.
in canada, grande and tall are the same price (one teabag) and venti is more (2 teabags)... if they want a venti with one teabag they get charged for tall or grande in a venti cup (same price) but if they want a venti tea latte with one teabag they still get charged for a venti.
What are the prices at your store?
For a tall tea its 1.95
Granda is 2.15
Venti is 2.45
She would ask for a Venti Zen with one tea bag, then when we'd tell her the total she'd ask us to charge her for a tall. I always told her I'd just charge her for a grande, but that's the lowest I'd go. Then she'd just ask for a tea bag, then I'd just charge her for a tall cause I DGAF'd at that point.
But at my old store, and this made sense, we only offered 16. oz hot teas, because that is how it steeped best. We'd offer them a tall or a vent for the same price (always one tea bag) If they wanted two, and we liked them we'd just give it to them. If they were rude we had an 'add tea' modifier which charged 50c.
I miss the add tea button. ): Because I really think we should get one for customers who want no water in their Trenta teas.
I have these sisters who get Venti (largest size we have) Iced Zen no water, with their own personal sweetener shaken in. One of them even gets an extra Venti cup of ice. Between the two of them, they use up almost the entire pitcher, and they only pay for two venti iced teas.
