Need to vent cos im burning with rage rite now with this partner. He's been working at our store for less time i have. A transfer. Idk y he transferred. I'm sick of him. A total ****. I've worked with him many times & when taking orders as the dto& he's the dtb. I often times cannot hear customers because of them not speaking up or complicating things. So he feels the right that when I'm "screwing up" to quickly butt in & cut me off with the order like if I cannot do my damn job. Ill learn to understand customers just let me do my thing & u stick to making drinks u f****** tool. He's got these dumb whitewashed b**** a$$ friends who drive thru & even then I'm taking their order & he feels that its ok to talk to them meanwhile I'm taking their order. He is the most rudest person I've dealt with ever. Even does things that he can get fired for like hooking up his buddies. Today was the last straw. I'm working with him & he's the dto. Setting up the things to hand out. Well he puts a damn blueberry scone in the customers bag when he needed cake pops. How in the world do u mistake a damn scone for a cake pop?! He even went to go look for bday cake pops. I looked on my lunch & there was a package of bday ones & he tells the customer there weren't any! Offers him tiramisu & raspberry truffles instead making my job more difficult. The customer after asks me where his water bottle is. I ask the tool & he says "Oh I forgot to punch it in..." Naw duh u didn't punch it in u dumb****. He's always trying to be super barista & he's worked more than I have & he makes more mistakes than anyone! He's an incompetent barista that personally I wanna strangle because he has even tried to blame me for some of his crappy mistakes trying to get things "right" when he's a crappy worker... Idk what to do now with this pain in the a$$ I got at work now...
Horrible partner. HATE HIM!!!

Ive talked to my sm about him being a total **** & working in the most retarded ways. I talked to my ss yesterday about his problem with taking over on orders & hooking up his friends.

Um, doesn't everyone hook up their friends? His mistake was doing it in front of someone who dislikes him lol. Hope you get everything figured out and your SM actually steps up and takes action. Work drags by so much longer when you're working with someone you despise.

Yeah i guess. I just dont like the fact he was hooking up girls who got all the money to spend. Shoot. They can spend that money they dont need it for free. Yep it does. Plus that guy has never heard of showering, he smells like hes been swimming in trash if u get close to him.

Well, I guess the next best thing is to tell him like it is. You could try something like, "Hey, ____, I know you wanna work hard, but... we're on a team. Since you're the ___ right now, you think that you can let me do more as ____? I kind of feel like you're taking over my position right now. Can we support each other instead?"
