Love to do this to break up the monotony. Could I be written up for it though? Like writing "lolwut" or "grilled cheese" in the drink box. As long as I hand it to the right person...

My SM always gets on me for not writing names on cups because he always wants to call people's drinks by name. I asked a guy for his name, twas 'D_ick'. I tried so hard not to laugh when my SM looked at the cup and said "Grande WM fo..." [didn't say his name]

I had a coworker who kept mishearing a drink I called out to her... she thought I said "hot potato". So after that, every once in awhile I'd slip a cup in her drink queue "hot potato". Extra sour cream. Chives. :) It would always catch her off guard.
And on a particularly busy day... when I knew we weren't going to get breaks, I wrote on a cup "please kill me" and put it in queue for my supervisor on the bar. He gave it back to me and said he couldn't. I wrote more on it... "I beg you" and "XXXXH sanitizer 3 cleaning tablet 2 urnex latte" He put some sanitizer in the cup and put it back next to me. A few minutes later there's a break in the line and he just grabs the cup and chugs it!! (I was too distracted to notice he had replaced the sanitizer with water lol). Good times.

D.ick is a a common name (full first name is usually Richard) anyways, I write D.ick on them if the customers name is D.ick... Where I live it's fairly common. We have 2-3 usual D.icks a day...
No pun intended whatsoever. I am not making this up at all.
I also draw on the bottom of cups anything that comes to mind that won't get me into trouble

I draw on the bottoms of the cups too. Sometimes I get bored and write out whole words instead of using the drink codes. There are a couple people I work with who get really thrown by it so it keeps me entertained.

When I'm bored I grab a bunch of sleeves and draw mustaches and goatees on the sirens. Kind of dumb, but it amuses me!

We sometimes give new names to drinks at my store. Since we're in the south, a lot of people prefer the BT to be a little extra sweet. We've decided to call that "Swamp water". For some reason there are a lot of people who order Nonfat, no water, no foam chai tea lattes. We started calling those Chai Zero.
But I sometimes am in a REALLY good mood, so if that happens while I'm on register, I'll write cute little sayings on the cups like "Chai to have a good day!"
But I wish I could draw better. I like the robot idea!
