Alas Suckbuck...we have had frappes in Canada. They were in the atlantic for a long time and also a few stores in Ontario. They decided to focus on their new smoothies for the time being and pulled frappes from the Canadian menu last month.

Dear christ suckbuck!
You're making us canucks look just like americans assume we're like.
We definitely have had mcdonalds "frappes" for quite some time now, and frapps are pretty substandard up here in the great arctic tundra.However, it's terrible when you're snowed in your igloo, and your pet polar bear is nowhere to be found, and you just crave a maple flavored iced beverage of sorts.
(sarcasm.)
I wasn't aware that these things weren't common knowledge, I rotate between living in Vancouver and Calgary, and although I've never felt the need to try one, I know they're there.
Aside from fruity pebbles, cookie crisp, and count chocula cereals, we pretty much have everything the states has, just not bastardized sizes of everything.
(we do have ketchup chips though, which I've heard through the people at the enterprise help desk, simply do not exist in the glorious U.S. of A.)

These Frappe are NOT in Saskatchewan...just because you know about them in Calgary or in Vancouver, does not mean it is in Saskatchewan too [Did I mention Sarcasm?]...now seriously...what on earth are you talking about?

i call it Frappucino and anyone that comes in and calls it a Frapp or Frappe i ask if they want a large order of fries and a coke to go with it...
