So yeah, my store was visited by Ecosure today. My hands are falling off from washing them 6432443 times. Just a bit of stress this morning!

As far as I know, as my shift was over in the middle of the inspection, we did fine. At least our store does deep clean on a daily basis (one deep clean item per day at opening or closing) instead of a special shift for it. One thing that is hard to control is fruit flies. Store is in FL and all kinds of flying critters including those come in via the DT. And we had some in the store today. At least they weren't in the pastry case!

It WAS pretty amusing watching my manager freak out cuz baristas were putting their hands all over cup lids by lifting the drinks by the lid (as we all have done) because that's a no no...

We have a terrible fly problem at my store and we have missions when we aren't busy to go and kill them.. so frustrating because this is 2 years in a row of them,

^ My store does too! It is crucial that my store deep cleans daily, however my manager is too lazy to enforce this rule. So what happens is my store gets a swarm of flies that cover the back wall near the cold bar. They also like to fly around our heads when we ring up customers. I personally would be grossed out if I were a customer and I saw flies everywhere but they don't seem to mind, as long as they get their creamy crack.
