I had someone order a tall SKVL with 17 pumps once, but any lattes or the like where they request heavy cream.... ugh.

The customer called it a "Thin Mint Frap"... grande two pump mocha two pump peppermint green tea frappucino with chocolate whip.... Yeah. Disgusting color, too.

A guy gets a trenta 17 pump sugar free caramel, 6 raw sugar, extra whole milk, iced coffee. And he comes back for a refill in about 30 minutes.
Any latte made with heavy cream.

personally i think that if someone is gonna go overboard with classic syrup or something then they should have had a soda or something, if they go crazy with caramel syrup or sauce then give then a caramel next time. Doing stuff like this masks all the taste of coffee so whats the point anymore.

I just had an order for an iced no ice GTL with frapp chips. Omg. Almost died...ewwwwww

Okay, I quit Starbucks last December, but still come around to read now and then, because you all crack me up. I had to chime in on this thread and tell you about this monstrosity I was once forced to make. This was a few years back when we were advertising the apple chai infusions and berry chai infusions. So this lady comes In and orders an apple chai infusion with half juice, half milk. I tried to tell her that the millk would curdle upon contact with the hot juice, but she insisted that she had "had it before at another store" and it was good. So I proceeded to steam some milk and juice in separate pitchers, to avoid cross contamination. I pumped the chai into the cup, poured in the milk halfway, then the juice. Sure enough, the milk immediately began to rise up into a thick, gelatinous mass of yellowish brown curdles that resembled nothing more than a pile of vomit. Just looking at it made bile rise up in my throat. I said to the woman, "ma'am, there is quite a bit of curdling here." And she said, "it's okay,I like it.". So I put a lid on that puppy and handed it off to her, and went in the back room for a moment to take a deep breath and keep from retching at the thought of someone actually drinking that mess.

I had a grande 5 pump chai, 5 pump white mocha 5 pump gingerbread no water chai tea latte. just about threw up all over the girl the minute she ordered it. she got to the window and she said something about her drink and "i just love it so sweet".
So my partners and I re-made the drink after and sampled it to other partners and we all wanted to puke. It was the worst thing in my entire life. Other than that, most people at my store get drinks made with nonfat milk and they are pretty standard.
It's the chai tea lattes with all the modifications that p!ss me off because they add stuff in there that doesn't even matter... but they aren't a disgusting order (Even though they are)

I'm ok with making shaken iced teas sweetened until they can induce diabetes (which are pretty rare for me, most of my customers get it unsweetened or at normal sugar levels), and by extension I've made my peace with making frappuccinos. However I still throw up a little in my mouth though whenever I have to make an extra hot eggnog latte because of the smell. I love the smell of eggs sizzling in a skillet just like anyone else, but there's something nasty to me about smelling (and worse, smelling like) an espresso-flavored omelette. I imagine the person nibbling on the foam of cooked eggs before tucking into a grande cup of hot egg batter as I'm wiping off bits of scrambled egg from my steam wand.

Today I made an iced single venti 10 pump chai, chai tea latte. SO gross!!

This old lady and her grandaughter come in and the grandma allows the rude, bratty, demanding little biotch of a child to order two tall green tea frapps. One with soy, one with nonfat, both half sweet, both with no base, both triple blended, and both with extra whip. WTF! She told me they order it like that cause it " has hardly any calories".
Also when people order blended iced teas. Even when you tell them, it seperates.
Theres one woman at my store who orders an iced soy chai tea latte blended. yuckk

I didn't make it, but I took the order: a tall passion tea lemonade with caramel. What the hell.

yesterday had someone order a raspberry green tea frappucino with mocha drizzle. vomitous.
Posted 10 months ago # -
a customer comes in and orders a 2 pump vanilla, steamed whipped cream, and caramel drizzle. She only gets about an inch of coffee in the bottom, so shes basically drinking a cup of sweetened whip. EW!

Today someone ordered at Venti Black Iced tea, half water, half %, sweetened, and 4 scoops of vanilla bean. Apparently it's like a Thai iced tea? I tasted some and it is le nast.

In the grand scheme of things this isn't really that outlandish of a request, but drizzling caramel around the inside of a cup just makes me feel gross and wrong.

Today. Green Tea Creme Frappuccino made with heavy crean, and a caramel one with extra caramel driz. WUT. THE. F***. And when I handed the drinks off, the ladies in the car were so morbidly obese it wasnt even funny.
We have a regular who comes in and gets a tall pike with two fingers of cold whole milk and 10 raw sugar. the guy pisses me off. i actually, for the hell of it, tried it. the thing doesnt even taste like coffee anymore.

what is the one drink that completely and utterly disgusted you to make??? Every single thing on the menu. If I had to choose 1 to get rid of it would be anything that goes in the blender. Especially the smoothies. Get rid of them.

green tea latte with raspberry.
venti iced coffee, caramel syrup, extra caramel drizzle, 3 splenda, soy milk.
five shots over ice in a venti cup, 1 raw, 1 equal, extra ice, cream to the top, whipped cream on top of that. (she always got three just like that, and two grandes the same way with 3 shots. five drinks total unless she had her kid with her. every single day.)
venti iced water with 10 scoops matcha.
venti salted caramel mocha frapp with five added shots.
mocha cookie crumble frapp with raspberry.

Whipped cream (as the milk), with five pumps mocha, 4 pumps toffee nut, 2 scoops matcha, and a pump of raspberry, all blended. Then topped with chocolate whipp and coconut sprinkles. I wanted to gag at the color, tbh.

The worst for me remains the genius who wanted whip on a venti 12CL PTL. Not even Bill Nye could have cooked up poison like that.

Over dt headset I hear: "Venti Chai with lemonade..." All of us on headset screamed "WHAAAT?!" out loud...I thought fast and said, "Did you mean lemonade or do you mean latte?" She said, "Oh yeah, right, latte..." This came the same day as the Iced green tea latte with no ice and frap chips. I don't think I coulda handled another scary drink. Whew, crisis averted!!!

Matcha powder + orange mango juice over ice. So gross. They call it the green monster. Just the smell makes me wanna puke.
Posted 10 months ago # -
...anything made with SFH. It smells like rank feet.
The worst drinks are usually one off since we don't have much in the way of regulars... but there is one guy who gets a venti 10 scoop matcha GRTF. Straight up grass. Another lady gets a grande 10 pump WM with CR drizzle. Ugh! Worse though was a passenger who had like, over half the cup filled with white mocha, nearly the rest with espresso... I steamed the milk for her grande sized drink, but used less than an ounce of it.

I have a lady that comes in and orders a trenta shaken iced coffee with no ice, eight pumps white mocha, 9 pumps caramel, two raspberry and heavy cream to the top of the shaker and it HAS to be shaken fifteen times because she will stand there and watch you make it. It's a disgusting color.

I used to have a customer come into the store and get a large iced chai. Only he wanted about an inch of room for milk. So 90% of the cup was filled with chai. He would go out and sit on the patio and drink it like it was nothing.
Then across the way there was a guy who got a chai, and fed it to his McCaw. It's too bad he didn't pick up the bird crap.Posted 10 months ago # -
Grande JCFL in a venti cup with extra whip. 4 pumps peppermint and 10 scoops of chips. Yeah buddy, there's no point in making thar puppy light.

I had someone order a green tea lemonade with whip... I checked with her several times to see if it was what she really wanted. And people order passion tea lattes even though we warn them that the dairy and the tea curdle... gross.

Oh, this is so great! I will not be hungry for the rest of the evening.
Anything with the matcha powder makes me gag.
Had a favorite regular's mother place an order the other day for an extra hot breve Green Tea latte'...with whip, no sweetener. Then proceeded to use everything available on the DIY counter to doctor it. I was scared.
And for the matcha...question for the ranks, how much does a scoop weigh? I had a customer insist that we sold the bags of matcha powder to her. I advised her that it is not for retail sale and told her to check in with the team lead later in the week. We are trying to figure out how many scoops are in the bag of 17 or so ounces. May crosspost the question, but am a lazy girl.
