   Stereotyping time! What's your least favorite "kind" of customer?
   Today there must have been a business convention nearby, because there were buttloads of entitled middle aged jerks in businesswear, ordering 5 or 6 drinks at a time. Then in comes a group of six people who get 9 drinks, 4 bagels, and 3 sandwiches, all ordered one at a time, but on the same bill. Not only did they not tip, but my bar guy overheard them snickering that they "should have come through drive through, just to be more complicated".
   This was a pretty extreme example, but entitled business yuppies who don't tip are possibly the worst.

   Also middle aged women who sit in groups of 4 or 7 or 10 in the cafe and shriek and cackle at a completely unnecessary volume level.

   Weird, disgruntled, elderly foreigners who don't speak a word of English. Why does this happen so often??

   The vast, vast majority of female flight attendants. There's only one that I've ever really liked, and she's still super high-strung. :/

   Any female in oversized sunglasses usually means she has barely any idea of what she wants OR she's about to modify a latte like a mofo. Any guy who--and I'm not sure why this is--but any guy who wears crocs and shorts usually has no idea how to order and he's gonna end up like, "Oh I wanted that iced" even though he ordered an extra hot cappuccino.

   One's who are rude about a wrong/poorly made drink or who are rude in general for that matter. I wouldn't mind remaking anything if everyone told me respectfully. There is no room for acting civil at Starbucks apparently.

    I had one the other day, who had to wait behind five people, so their drinks were first. When it took forever for her to get her drink, she yelled at my shift, who asked me to help on bar. Too bad that partner was working on her drink. But that wouldn't suffice this woman, who then yelled at me about being late for a meeting, before going to the bar, laying her head in her hands, and shaking her head in anger. Her drink was then ready.

    A foreign guy from the uk came through drive thru and drove past the order box during a rush and wanted me to reload his card, grind a pound of coffee and get his drinks that he was complainig we dont have anymore. Ugh.

    And every morning this nasty foreign lady screams at me through dt because i cant understand what she wants and then she pays me in all change and always puts the change on the dt ledge instead of handing it to me WHEN MY HAND WAS RIGHT THERE. Damn!

    Customers that throw a fit instead of asking for corrections. Or the angry ladies from the nail salon that don't speak much English and freak out when we can't understand because of their accent. Or my recent personal favorite, an impatient lady who seems to have it out for me and makes a huge scene in the store when even the slightest thing isn't exactly how she wanted it (too much/not enough topping, too thick/too thin blended, etc.).

    Most regulars I can stand but then we get those "I want my usual" and get so angry when I don't get their ridiculous order correct. I'm sorry, my life goal is NOT to memorize your order. I see many, MANY people a day.

    Those really huge women that do the slow waddle into my little licensed store inside the Target. In my head I'm like 'Honey, you better turn right back around cuz you headin' in thee WRONG direction and you don' need nothin' here!' Well, they'll order their 5 "Karmul Frapps with Extra Karmul and Extra Whip blended in" for the whole family waiting out in the car. How sad they send the fat jaba to get the drinks and shes all sweatin and stuff anyways... I honestly just want to grab a gallon of whole milk, 2 whipped cream canisters, and 3 bottles of caramel, slam them on the counter and be like 'here ****, have at it.' And you ALL know thats what you wish you could do.

    I've worked at Starbucks for literally a month. I love when I can work on bar but not actually deal with calling out the drinks and dealing with the **** customers. I think my worst pet peeve of all is when they don't tell you the size of the cup until the very end so you are just staring blankly at them cause you think they are a f^%^%ng ****. OR when they say they want a grande caramel macchiato. I say okay, write it on the cup and then they say "aww, could I have it iced?" "you sure can...****". I have two customers that come
    In that I dread their presence. One of them watches you make your drink and like hovers. And she is an annoying old lady that continuously moans that her drink isnt ready yet. I'm sorry, but did you see the huge line up of other people in front of you that I am making before you. And when I am making other peoples drink, this b^}*{! Continuously yells at me. "is that my drink? I didnt want syrup". No, it's not your f*<*}*ing drink, go to the back of the line and wait your precious turn" Another girl drives me nuts when I work on
    cash. She mumbles like a mofo, so let's say she quietly orders a "Tall non-fat, with whip mocha cookie crumble frappachino!" I say "pardon, did you say mocha coconut ?". She says no and then just stares at me
    With an annoying smirk as it to say "guess". Like f*^*...just speak up and repeat yourself. It's not that hard. I've got 15 more people in line, this isn't a guessing game. I hate people haha I shouldnt be in customer service

    I have another one. When dirty old men chuckle when they ask for a tall blonde. It's not funny the 50th time around. Grow up. AND. I'm Canadian, so Tim Hortons is popular. So when someone comes in asking for an ice cappuccino. I just stare at them and say...Tim
    Hortons ? They said yes, and I said ya no...they don't cross over here...read the menu again and order a god d*** frappachino like you're supposed to.

    I was born around southern hospitality so people that I encounter in every day life that display a complete lack of common courtesy or general manners just do not make sense to me. That being said, I think the worst offenses are from regular customers who display a steady decline in their behaviors. The people who go from being the customer you look forward to seeing to the customer who barks their order out before you can even give them a friendly greeting.

    The other day a 3-a-day regular of my store came in for his second or third Awake tea refill. He came in with a friend or coworker (my store is on a business block) & he just stood in front of me at my register talking to this other guy without even glancing at me. Yeah, I knew what he was going to order but I refused to serve him without some acknowledgement. He just set his old cup on the counter & continued talking. Then when he realized I wasn't moving at his telepathic command he looked over at me, pointed to his cup, & said, "Uh an Awake tea refill?" A fire was lit inside of me but I just responded with an OH OKAY ANYTHING ELSE? And he says, "It's always an Awake tea." I knew what I wanted to say to him but I didn't want to be unprofessional & say anything in front other customers. I actually looked for him at the condiment bar after I took care of their orders because it was right at the end of my shift. But when I clocked out he had already gone. :(

    At my store there are two twin girls who come in every day around opening, never order anything and bring in their own food. They also make a mess where they are sitting and are at times rude to the staff. I figure they are in the store mainly to use the wi-fi, but with how much money they spend on the food they bring in, they could pay for their own Internet at home.
