lol, so my new thing I do when I'm on dt goes like this:
Custo: I'll have a grande caramel frappe.
Me: Was that a grande caramel LATTE?
Custo: No, a caramel frappeeeee.
Me: Okay, a grande caramel latte, did you want that hot or iced?
Custo: Ugh, no I want the uhhhhh, the frappuccino....
Baristas: 1 Custos: 0
I'm so doing this.
I just answer, as sweetly and innocently as possible, "frappe....? oh do you mean the frappUCCINO?!" they usually get the point hehe
Me too. Had a woman order a medium caramel frappé a few weeks ago
Customer: I'll have a Medium Caramel Frappé
Me: A grandé caramel frappacino? Sure!
Customer: whatever you said. They let me order it the other way at McDonald's

I had a guy ask me the other day what the difference is between a frappe and a frappuccino. I told him one is made by McDonalds and one is made by Starbucks. He was not satisfied with my answer.

There's a McDonald's right around the corner, and I let customers know they can get a Frappe there. I then tell them I would gladly make them a frappuccino and to please not insult my drinks in the future.
Customer: "I'll have a chocolate frappe."
Me: "Oh you mean a mocha?"
Customer: "Yes."
Me: "So that's a mocha FRAPPUCCINO?"
I know it's nothing special, but I try to repeat frappuccino as many times as possible and enunciate very slowllyyyyyyy.
My shift usually says "We don't sell frappes here. But we do have frappuchinos if you'd like one of those."
Honestly, we get those everyday multiple times a day. If you want a Frappe, got to Mcdonalds.
We have a regular that comes in and orders a Venti Mocha Light "Frapp-O" I dont mind it because he's big and jolly and reminds me of Santa Claus. I call him the Frapp-O Man. Anyone else would get a dirty look.
I'll take Frapp-O any day over "I want a karmul frapp extra karmul"
I dont work at a DT but If someone orders a frappe and im on bar i call it out.. I have a grande caramel Frappuccino Coffee Blended Beverage ready at the bar!!
i would rather somebody ask for a mocha frappe than have them ask for a mocha, and get angry and say "this is supposed to be cold!!! like a milkshake?!?"

We had a guy order an "iced cinnamon dolce latte" and then while the barista's making it, he says "Um, is that going to be a frappuccino?" She says "Did you order a frappuccino?" and he replies "Well I TOLD them I wanted it cold!"
