   Don't you all hate it when a customer will come up to the register. Hello how are you?
   Give me a cafe mocha! ME:what size? CUSTOMER: I SAID CAFE MOCHA ME:WHAT SIZE CUSTOMER GETS LOUDER CAFE MOCHA. ME: WHAT SIZE AND I GRAB ALL THE CUPS AND PUT THEM IN HIS FACE...this **** happens to often!

   Also its funny how you can stereotype who orders what....Koreans always get a "tawrl" caramel machiatto, white mocha, or green tea latte!

   indians always order a tall NO MATTER WHAT...its usually a mocha or chai

   TROPHY WIFES: skinny lates with some retarded modification like 3 splendas or something

   hispanics : BENTI COFEE OR BENTI BANILLA LATE LOL LET ME STOP BEING INSULTING!
   GTRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

   Didn't we jsut have a topic along these lines? Anyway, soccer moms; venti SKINNY peppermint mocha, but with the whip, and an oatmeal raising cookie (nobody wants to get fat, right?)

   We get a ton of Indians and they always come in with an "I know so much more than you about coffee and tea" attitude, and inform us about how we should be brewing coffee, and how the water for tea should always be boiling. So annoying.

   um, where is your store? Montgomery, Alabama? Obviously you dont have a very diverse customer base. The trophy wives are all the same yeah, but that's because they share the same brain and try to compete with each other to see who can be the most anorexic and useless in life.

   Indian's I will say very often get Chai (i guess its cultural maybe?) but we have so many Hispanic and Asians that come in it's impossible to shrink it down to a few drinks.

   My store is mostly a frapp store.
   So ALL THE **** TIME I get these Mexicans (no offense) coming in ordering a "BENTIE" FRAPUSHINO CARAMELO"

   God it **** pisses me off to no end when they say "frappushino caramelo," flipping the order of the words and adding their Mexican "O" to the end.

   LIKE THEY CAN'T TAKE 2 **** SECONDS LEARNING TO SAY IT CORRECTLY. ****

   haha funny story, back when we had the banana crap for frappuccinos a woman ordered a benti banalla latte. I thought it was gross, but it was right after open and I didn't feel like clarifying. So I eyeballed as much banana as I figured should go in, added a couple of shots, some milk, off she goes.

   Yeah, what she really wanted was a venti vanilla latte. Oops. My ASM at the time thought I was just being an ****, which would've been right up my alley, but that was an actual oops.

   I'm usually willing to do anything to make fun of customers, but some of this is downright racist and cruel. Learn some Spanish? Go try to order in a Mexico City Starbucks and then we'll see who can't order properly. I'm not ragging on y'all, I'm just saying ... don't let Starbucks customers turn you into a bigot. I know it's hard, but resist. Resist.

    If the customer is fat assume they want a venti and just pull a venti cup out and start marking it. If the customer looks poor pull out a small cup. If they ask why you did this, just say you thought you heard them tell you they wanted that particular size.

    Id be surprised any of you people talking **** about the Hispanic accent had ever been out of the country. Try traveling a bit to somewhere where you DONT speak their language and you'll gain a bit of respect that people living in shanties are more educated and can speak YOUR language and their native language. I hate **** who assume that everyone should speak English perfectly if they want to do anything in this country. These are the same fuckwads who go to Costa Rica and **** when they have to translate their drink orders to their bartenders. **** douchebags.

    so true taichilatte, those are the pricks that get the "guided local tours" by english speaking people and think they are seeing anything actually like local culture or cuisine. i refuse to go somewhere though if i don't know their language well enough.

    I'm not xenophobic either; it is sooo last century. I do have to say though that I don't like the way caucasians speak when they order. They have such a nasal accent here in baltimore. Can't you all say "water" and not "wooder" or "latte" and not "laday." Seriously caucasians make the hairs on my arms stand on end. They can buy their lattes and frapps but they can't buy class, knowhatimeanson?!

    i'm not sure if your joking or not... if not then no it hasn't since they are bilingual by law and mandate the teaching of french and english. there are dominant french areas, however i speak a decent bit of french so as at least not to insult people "vous stupide baisez", personally i think america will come around and recognize spanish as a major language and wish i could speak it better.

    look a customer up and down when they won't give you a size and them size them. ie: tell a fat person "you look like a venti to me..."

    ilivetodecaf- This is very true, at least in my case. I may sound like and be a grouchy ****, but I dont tip baristas. I also dont tip carhops and other people in professions who I know get an hourly income that doesn't solely depend on tips unless the service is just that phenomenal.

    I am not mean spirited, just naturally grouchy and cynical. However I am usually very nice to kind strangers.
